As a trader who’s tried multiple prop firms over the years, I can confidently say Elysium Forex stands out. The evaluation process was clear, fair, and transparent from start to finish. No hidden rules or sudden policy changes — just a solid model built for real traders. I passed Phase 1 and 2 in just under 30 days, and my funded account was issued almost immediately. Payouts? Seamless. Landed in my account within 24 hours. This is how a prop firm should operate.

How Many Futures Accounts Can I Have?
You may have one active Funded Futures account per starting balance tier:
$25K Account
$50K Account
$100K Account
This means you can hold a maximum of three active funded accounts at one time, with a combined starting balance limit of $175,000.
What Trading Platforms Are Supported?
At signup, you will receive credentials for either:
DXFutures
Deepcharts by Volumetrica
Both platforms are accessible through your client dashboard under the Downloads section. Mobile access is also available.
Please note:
Third-party trading platforms are not supported
CME market data attestation is required
All traders must qualify as Non-Professional under CME rules
What Is the Consistency Requirement?
The Consistency Requirement is designed to encourage disciplined trading and prevent passing a challenge with one oversized trading day.
Formula
\text{Consistency Ratio} = \left(\frac{\text{Best Trading Day PnL}}{\text{Total PnL}}\right) \times 100
A lower percentage means your profits are spread more evenly across multiple trading days.
Example
On a $100K account with an $8,000 profit target:
✅ Pass Example
Day 1 Profit: $4,000
Day 2 Profit: $4,000
Consistency Score: 50%
❌ Fail Example
Day 1 Profit: $6,000
Day 2 Profit: $2,000
Consistency Score: 75%
To satisfy a 50% consistency rule with a $6,000 best day, total profits would need to reach at least $12,000.
What Happens If I Don’t Meet the Consistency Requirement?
You will not lose your account. However, you must meet both:
The required profit target
The consistency requirement
before becoming eligible for payouts or advancing phases.
What Is a Profit Target?
The Profit Target is the required profit amount needed to:
Pass your current phase
Advance to the next phase
Become eligible for payouts
Can I Reset My Account?
No. If your account breaches any risk rule, you will need to purchase a new account.
Is There a Daily Loss Limit?
There is no fixed Daily Loss Limit. However, you must always remain within your account’s Maximum Trailing Loss.
How Does the Maximum Trailing Loss Work?
The Maximum Trailing Loss is based on your End of Day Balance.
Example
If your starting balance is $100,000 with a 5% trailing loss:
Initial loss limit = $95,000
If account balance increases to $102,000:
New trailing threshold becomes $97,000
Once the trailing threshold reaches your original starting balance, it locks there permanently. End of Day is defined as 1600 CST.
How Do Payouts Work?
Once you are in the Funded Phase, you may request a payout after meeting all payout requirements, including:
Consistency Requirement
Minimum profitable trading days
Required buffer rules
Risk management rules
Compliance with all program guidelines
Can I Hold Trades Over the Weekend?
No. All positions and pending orders must be closed by 1555 CST each weekday. Weekend holding is not permitted.
What Is a Futures Contract?
A futures contract represents a standardized amount of an underlying asset.
Examples:
ES (E-mini S&P 500) = $50 × Index Price
CL (Crude Oil) = 1,000 barrels of oil
Are There Position Limits?
Yes. Contract limits are based on account size:
| Account Size | Max Contracts | Max Micros |
|---|---|---|
| $25K | 1 | 10 |
| $50K | 3 | 30 |
| $100K | 6 | 60 |
These limits apply to total open positions at any time.
What Happens If I Breach a Funded Account?
If you hard breach a funded futures account:
Any gains in the account are forfeited
Unless you purchased the Payout Protector Add-On
What Are the Trading Hours?
Trading opens at 1700 CST during the Globex Open and positions must be closed before 1555 CST.
What Happens If I Forget to Close My Trades?
Positions may be automatically liquidated at 1555 CST on regular trading days. Positions cannot remain open over the weekend.
Holiday Trading Hours
During holiday sessions and shortened market days:
Auto-liquidation may not occur
Traders are fully responsible for closing positions before market close
Failure to do so may result in account loss.
How Do I Complete CME Market Data Attestation?
You must log into your trading platform and complete the CME market data agreement while confirming your status as a Non-Professional trader.
Both DXFutures and Deepcharts require this process before trading is enabled.
Can I Trade During News Events?
Yes. Trading during news events is allowed in the Futures Program.
However, traders should use caution due to:
Increased volatility
Reduced liquidity
Faster market movements
You are responsible for monitoring economic events and managing risk appropriately.
You can add this section directly into your FAQ page:
Am I Required to Trade the Front-Month Futures Contract?
Yes. Traders are required to trade only the front-month futures contract for each product, as these contracts maintain the highest liquidity and open interest.
Example
For the ES E-Mini S&P 500:
In March, the correct contract would be the March (H) contract
Trading later expiration contracts such as July (N) or September (U) during that period is prohibited
Trading out-month contracts may result in:
Account violations
Loss of trading privileges
Account termination
Always ensure you are trading the currently active front-month contract listed by the exchange.
To identify the active front-month contracts, traders can reference the official CME Group Product Slate here:
How many Challenges and/or Funded accounts may I have active at one time?
EVALUATION LIMITS
You can only have one active evaluation for a specific account size and plan tier across all platforms.
Example: You can have one $100K One Step Plan and one $100K Two Step Plan running at the same time.
You can also mix sizes — for example, a $50K One Step Plan and a $100K One Step Plan can run together.
You can’t have more than one of the same size + plan type (Ex: two $100K One Step Plan).
If you purchase more than one of the same size + plan type, you must wait until one account is either funded or breached before activating another.
MAXIMUM ASSESSMENT LIMITS
You can hold up to $1,000,000 total in active evaluation accounts at a time.
This may include multiple account sizes, as long as none share the same size and plan type.
MAXIMUM FUNDED LIMITS
You can have up to $1,000,000 total in active funded accounts.
If you pass multiple assessments and end up with two funded accounts of the same size, you have two choices:
Keep only one active at a time (the other activates once the first is breached).
If no trades have been placed, you can combine them into a single account double the size.
COMPOUNDING LIMITS
There are no limits on compounding!
Start with up to $1 Million in funding and grow it as far as your skills take you — $10 Million, $20 Million, and beyond.
How do you calculate the Daily Loss Limit?
As an example, if a trader has profitable trades open at the end of the day, the trader’s equity will be higher than the balance. In this case, the equity will be used for the daily drawdown metric.
If a trader has no open trades , balance and equity are the same → balance will be used for the daily drawdown metric (no change to the current calculation).
If a trader has open positions that are in losses, equity would be lower than balance. In this case, balance will be used for the daily drawdown metric (no change to the current calculation).
How do you calculate Max Drawdown?
Static, Maximum drawdown is the maximum your account can drawdown before you would hard breach your account. When you open the account, your Maximum Drawdown is set at a defined % of your starting balance. This % is static and does not trail.
Profit Buffer
Profit Buffer: 3% (Can be reduced to 2% with add-on)
Only for accounts that were purchased May 1st and forward
The Profit Buffer is the minimum profit your account must reach before you can withdraw.
Simple Example (2% Buffer):
On a $100,000 account with a 2% buffer:
- Your buffer level is $102,000
- If your account grows to $104,000
- You can withdraw $2,000 (the profit above the buffer)
👉 After the withdrawal, your account does NOT reset to $100,000
- Your new starting balance is $102,000 (the buffer stays in place)
- If your balance drops below $102,000, there’s no violation
- You just won’t be eligible to withdraw until you’re back above the buffer
Why this is a good thing:
While it requires a small amount of extra profit before withdrawing, it actually benefits you as a trader:
- Builds a profit cushion on top of your max drawdown
- Gives you more room to trade safely
- Helps increase the longevity of your funded account
- Encourages steady, sustainable growth
In short — the buffer helps you protect your account while you earn.
Consistency rule
Consistency Rule: 30% (Can be relaxed to 40% with add-on)
Only for accounts that were purchased May 1st and forward
What is the Consistency Rule?
The Consistency Rule ensures your profits are made through a structured strategy, not one large trade. It limits how much of your total profit can come from your single best trading day.
How does it work?
40% rule (with add-on): Your best trading day cannot exceed 40% of your total profit
Example (40% Consistency):
PASS
Day 1: $4,000
Day 2: $2,000
Day 3: $2,000
Day 4: $2,000
Total Profit: $10,000
Best day = $4,000
40% of $10,000 = $4,000 You pass
FAIL
Day 1: $5,000
Day 2: $1,000
Day 3: $2,000
Day 4: $2,000
Total Profit: $10,000
Best day = $5,000
40% of $10,000 = $4,000 You fail
To pass, you would need to increase your total profit so your best day falls within 40% (for example: $12,500 total profit).
Why do we have this rule?
Prevents YOLO / all-in trading behavior
Stops traders from hedging risky positions across multiple firms
Encourages consistent, repeatable strategies
Helps protect traders and the firm from unnecessary risk
This rule is designed to automatically manage risk, so we don’t have to step in or restrict accounts manually.
Does this apply to payouts and profit targets?
Yes — you must meet the consistency requirement to:
Hit your profit target
Be eligible for withdrawals
What if I use an EA or automated strategy?
This rule can be built directly into your EA
You can also manage it by adjusting your take-profit levels
Many traders program their strategy to stay within the allowed percentage automatically
Bottom line:
Consistent trading wins. Avoid relying on one big trade — build steady profits and you’ll pass, get funded, and stay funded.

Can I use an Expert Advisor?
Subject to our policy on Prohibited Trading as described below, you can trade using an Expert Advisor.
Is there a breach for inactivity?
Yes. If you do not place a trade at least once every 30 days on your forex prop firm account, we will consider you inactive and your account will be breached. If you haven’t traded the account and received a breach email due to challenge limit rules, please get in touch with support to reactivate.
What is the difference between a Hard Breach and Soft Breach rule?
A soft breach means we will close all trades that violate the rule. However, you can continue trading in your Assessment or Live Account. A hard breach means that you violated either the Daily Loss Limit or Max Drawdown rule. Both rules constitute a hard breach. In the event you have a hard breach, you will fail the Assessment or have your Live Account taken away. A hard breach can also occur if you violate our policy on Prohibited Trading Activity. Refer to section below for details.
What is the policy on Prohibited Trading Activity?
You are prohibited from using any trading strategy expressly prohibited by Elysium Forex or the Liquidity Providers it uses. Such prohibited trading (“Prohibited Trading”) shall include, but not be limited to:
- Exploiting errors or latency in the pricing and/or platform(s) provided by the Liquidity Provider
- Utilizing non-public and/or insider information
- Front-running of trades placed elsewhere
- Hedging involves holding a buy and a sell of the same symbol in different accounts
- Trading in any way that jeopardizes the relationship that Elysium Forex has with a Liquidity Provider or may result in the cancellation of trades
- Trading in any way that creates regulatory issues for the Liquidity Provider
- Utilizing any third-party strategy, off-the-shelf strategy, or one marketed to pass challenge accounts
- Attempting to arbitrage an assessment account with another account with Elysium Forex or any third-party company, as determined by Elysium Forex in its sole and absolute discretion.
- If Elysium Forex detects that your trading constitutes Prohibited Trading, your participation in the program will be terminated and may include forfeiture of any fees paid to Elysium Forex. Additionally, before any Trader shall receive a funded account, the trading activity of the Trader under these Terms and Conditions shall be reviewed by Elysium Forex and the Liquidity Provider to determine whether such trading activity constitutes Prohibited Trading. In the case of Prohibited Trading, the Trader shall not receive a funded account.
Is Copy Trading allowed?
Copy trading is only permitted when all accounts engaged in copy trading are owned by you. Group trading, signal services, passing services, or any other methods that bypass individual strategy are not allowed. Engaging in trades that mirror or closely align with another trader or group of traders across multiple accounts is strictly prohibited.
Trader Verification
Before you are issued your Live Account, you must perform KYC via SumSub. We do not store any documents – all are sent through the SumSub portal for review. Once verified, you will sign your Trader Agreement and then be issued your Live Account.
What Platform can I trade on?
Our technology is integrated with DXTrade, MatchTrader, cTrader and Rithmic for Futures.
cTrader is not available to US customers
Can I trade during news events?
Opening a position within 3 minutes before or after a major news event is prohibited. Any traders identified as having opened a position during a News Event are subject to having that position closed and the associated P&L removed from their account, having the leverage on their account reduced or having their account breached altogether. The Company has sole and absolute discretion in determining what constitutes a News Event. This rule is intended to protect the integrity of our program and is not meant to penalize traders who inadvertently trade through a news event.
How do I withdraw the gains in my Funded Account?
Default Payout Schedule:
The first payout is available on demand. After the initial payout, payouts are processed every 30 days.
Bi-Weekly Payout Option:
If you choose the bi-weekly payout option, the first payout is not available on demand and will follow a bi-weekly payout schedule instead.
Can I hold positions over the weekend?
Yes, positions can be held over the weekend. Note that only cryptocurrencies trade 24/7.
How Long does it take to receive my Funded Account?
Upon passing your Assessment, you will receive an email with instructions on how to access and complete both your “Know Your Customer” verification and your “Trader Agreement”. Once both are completed and supporting documentation is provided, your Funded Account will be created, funded and issued to you typically within 24-48 business hours. You will receive a confirmation email once this account is being enabled.
Am I subject to any position limits?
The maximum position that you may open is generally determined by your available margin. We reserve the right to increase the margin requirement, limit the max order size or limit the number of open positions you may enter or maintain in the Funded Account at any time, and to revise in response to market conditions the drawdown levels at which trading in the Funded Account will be halted. We or the liquidity provider(s) reserve the right to refuse to accept any order.
What is the leverage?
We offer 50:1 Forex, 10:1 Metals, up to 10:1 leverage on Indices, up to 5:1 leverage on Oil and up to 2:1 leverage on Cryptocurrencies in our 1 and 2 Step Challenges. In Crypto accounts BTC and ETH offer 5:1 Leverage. All other products are 2:1 Leverage.
Instant Funded Lite
Consistency Rule (15%)
A 15% consistency rule applies to Instant Lite Plans. This means that no single trading day’s profit may exceed 15% of your total profit over the life of the account. This rule is designed to encourage steady, consistent performance and discourage reliance on large, single-day gains.
Profit Buffer (5%)
The 5% profit buffer determines when you become eligible to withdraw funds. Traders must first generate a profit of at least 5% of their starting balance. This initial 5% remains in the account as a buffer and cannot be withdrawn.
Example:
On a $100,000 account, once your balance reaches $105,000, the first $5,000 stays in the account as a buffer. Any profits earned above $105,000 are eligible for withdrawal.
When Can I Request My First Withdrawal?
You may request your first withdrawal once:
You have reached the 5% profit buffer
You meet the 15% consistency requirement
You have signed the trader agreement
You have successfully completed the KYC verification process
After the first withdrawal, requests can be made once every 30 days.
Daily Loss Limit (3%)
The daily loss limit is set at 3% of your account balance and is a strict rule. If your combined realized and unrealized losses reach or exceed 3% within a single trading day, your account will be considered breached and will be closed.
Maximum Drawdown (4%)
The maximum drawdown is 4% of your starting balance and operates as a trailing drawdown based on your closed balance. It increases as your account grows until it reaches your starting balance, at which point it becomes fixed.
Example:
On a $100,000 account, the drawdown starts at $96,000. As your balance increases, the drawdown level rises accordingly. Once it reaches $100,000, it locks in permanently. After this point, only profits above the starting balance are at risk.
Is a stop-loss required on open positions?
No a stop-loss isn’t required but recommended
Can I scale my funded account?
We don’t allow scaling accounts.
